Grounding Yourself

At times we can get so caught up in our transformation that we overlook the practical truths. The simple things you must do daily to reach your highest good. I started to dive deeper into self-development and learned more about my purpose and what I am supposed to do. Once I came down from my high, I realized how important it was to take action and to move in the direction of your goal.

I became more grounded in my purpose and realized what I was supposed to be doing to make it a reality. In this article, I want to share some ways to position yourself to take massive inspired action after experiencing a spiritual awakening/ enlightenment.

When you are grounding yourself, you start to realize the importance of becoming more present in a practical way.

Recently I went through a time in my life where I had my head ultimately in the clouds. I was busy thinking about my spiritual growth, my connection with God, and my higher self. Once I came back to earth, I realized that although everything I was learning was empowering and amazing. But I had to find a way to incorporate it into my everyday life. How do I make this practical? How do I bring what I have learned to a reasonable level and apply it to my daily life? Because your girl still has to live and handle your responsibilities.

Here are some ways to become more grounded once you have gone through an awakening or a moment of connecting with high source power.

Acknowledge your experience and listen for the message behind it.

Look into what it means to you. Gain more clarity on your purpose and why you are here—Knowing your goal is a massive piece to the puzzle. I discovered my life path number, which was powerful for me. Here is an excellent website to find your life path number.

Also, It’s Okay To Disconnect For a Bit,

From social media, and spend some time with yourself, if you have been reading a lot and diving into a YouTube series about spiritual things. Take a break from that as well. Sometimes all of that information can be overwhelming. A much need break can be all the difference. For me, I got to a point where I didn’t want to look at any spiritual books. Now I am gaining a nice balance between reading books on spirituality and more practical business books.

Talk To a Trusted Friend

Find a good friend, or join a tribe of women who align with who you are and what you are growing in. And engage with people who have already gone through what you are experiencing.

Don’t lose your alignment.

When you go through a season like this, it can feel pretty overwhelming. Trust me, I know. Old traumas can come up, challenges in your current life can arise, major shifts too. It would help if you stayed in alignment with your highest good. Stop and meditate; spend time in solitude if you need to.

Don’t go running to tell every soul

Now this one was difficult for me. Don’t go running to tell every soul what you are experiencing. Some people will not understand, which will make you question yourself, putting you into a confused state of mind. Trust that you are being shown something beautiful and realize that it is just for you. I had to learn to keep my discoveries to myself. Except for on my blog, I share all the fun stuff here!
