Learning how to master your thoughts is vital to mastering your life. Self-mastery begins with monitoring what we think about throughout the day. The idea of mastering your thoughts is one fact that has been carried throughout the ages both biblically and philosophically. Yet so many of us still struggle with controlling our thoughts. When one becomes a master of his thoughts, he becomes a master of himself. Direct your thoughts in the right direction, success, peace, well-being, harmony, and health will follow.
One thing God has given us in this life is our ability to control our minds. We have the power to perceive, experience, and react to life as we wish.
Our thoughts are the beginning of our habits, patterns, behaviors, and actions. Hence, why it is so important to keep watch of what we allow our minds to focus on.

Do you ever wonder why two people go through the same life experience? And one man can overcome while the other is defeated. While two people will experience the same circumstances, they will have different interpretations. There are people have developed a strong sense of focus and mental toughness while others are unable to overcome and remain scattered. Not that one person is stronger than the other. The thing that differentiates the two is what one focuses their thoughts on. One might think about his plight throughout the day and how unfair his situation is. While the other man thinks about positive thoughts of overcoming.
So many people point the finger at people and outside circumstances for their trials. When the true battle is with SELF. You have to know thy self and master your mind. Stir your ship in the direction you want it to go in.
We have the power to change our perception of the world around us and not live as though life is happening to us. Choosing to master your destiny is the best move you can make in this game of chest.
